January is renowned for being a turbulent month for romance. Christmas is a make or break time for many couples, with the intense pressure of December leading to many splits during January. On the flip side, it also fosters many new relationships, and with Valentine’s Day just a month away many of us are on the lookout for love. Love doesn’t last forever, even if you’re Matt LeBlanc. After 8 years, he and his girlfriend Andrea Anders have separated, putting him back on the market. We can’t promise he’ll turn to online dating, but at least those of you who have recently come out of a relationship will be comforted to know that being single has its perks. After all, now you’re available to meet other single hotties who are looking to revamp their love lives!
Don’t Miss An Opportunity
It made for hilarious viewing on The Tonight Show when it was revealed that Jimmy Fallon once missed out on a chance to date Nicole Kidman. Beyond the fact that Fallon chose to focus on video games instead of NICOLE bloody KIDMAN, it goes to show that you should never rule someone out when checking out the dating scene. You might just live to regret it.
Modern Romance
Showing how firmly traditional convention is now a thing of a past, the world was delighted by the news that Stephen Fry is planning to marry his partner Elliott Spencer. Not only will this same-sex marriage be a big success for the LGBT community, but with an age gap of 30 years this couple prove that love can often cross the generations. So don’t rule that singleton out just because they didn’t grow up with the same cartoons as you!
Whirlwind Wedding
Remember us telling you a few months ago that Cameron Diaz had a new squeeze? Well things have moved on considerably in a short space of time, as the couple have tied the knot in a private ceremony that shows you don’t have to wait around for true love. The relationship – and wedding itself – has been pretty hush hush, which we think makes it all the sweeter.
