1. Dress Smartly

2. Don’t Brag
We know you want to look good, but there’s nothing worse than a date who spends the whole time bragging about himself. You may think she’ll be swooning over your six figure salary or your sports car, but the chances are, she’ll just think you’re a bit of an idiot. If you don’t know what to talk about, favourite films, recent holidays and your family are all safe subjects. And if all else fails, just ask her about herself!
3. Compliment Her
From picking out the perfect outfit to applying just the right amount of makeup, most women spend hours getting ready for a first date. Let her know you’ve noticed by telling her how great she looks. Whether you’re having dinner, going to a concert or meeting at the pub, take it easy and save the shots for your next night out with the lads.
5. Offer to Pay for Dinner
At the end of a dinner date, always offer to pay for the meal. This may be an old fashioned sentiment, but it’s a great indicator of a man’s generosity and kindness. While most women are happy to split the bill, it’s always nice if a man at least offers to take care of it first. And if she does want to pay for her half, don’t get into an awkward argument about it – just gracefully accept.
